Students from the University of Berlin have released a free Synthesizer plugin. Synister is a free open source Synthesizer for Windows and Mac. Synister is easy to use and comes with all basic synthesis technologies
The Synthesizer features 3 oscillators, 2 filters (Ladder, BP, HP and LP), ADSR envelopes, multi-mode LFO’s and various FX (Delay, Chorus/Flayer, LoFi & Clip). Synister comes also with a step sequencer with random sequence generator.
Synister is available as VST, AU Plugins and as standalone software.
